Title:
"File conflict" when uploading files to FTP with flat directory
structure
Status in “nautilus” package in Ubuntu:
Expired
Bug description:
Binary package hint: nautilus
When trying to upload a file to an FTP in Nautilus I receive an error
stating that a folder with the same name already exists.
I am connecting to an Adtec Edje media drive with a flat directory
structure. When I connect to FTP servers with folders I do not have
this issue, nor do I have any issues when I ftp the files via command-
line to this drive. I get this message every time I attempt to move a
file on to the FTP through nautilus whether there is a file that
exists with this name on the drive. It perplexes me because it
recognizes the files that I am trying to move as an MPEG, but it says
the original file is a folder.
We are running Ubuntu 10.10
