Title:
Cannot print Tif from Gimp (through CUPS)

Status in “gimp” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:

Printing tif (2904x2123 pixels) fails. I opened the same tif in document viewer, and it printed a small image in the lower left corner of the page (about 1/6th of full page size).

Attached is error_log from cups, with debug enabled. Ghostscript dies
with the following message (from error_log). The attached log shows
two print attempts, one successfull (from document viewer) one
  unsuccessfull (from gimp).
