Status in “nautilus” package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: nautilus

  When you open a FTP server in nautilus, and you ned copy a  large
  volume of data, the copy dialog frezze, then even you want to stop,
  this dialog don't response, you must restart nautilus to stop the
  crash.
