mazimized mode and when I closed it all the tilte bars on all the apps
disappeared. after trying to repair with compiz "windows decorations"
the side ubuntu panel also disappeared and also the top panel. Then,
after some time, the top panel reappeared but there are only the buttons
"file, edit, view, help" and no switch off or network connection
icons.Other than that, I can't open dash nor can I switch windows,
whether by alt-tab or mouse clicks. I'm guessing that all my shortcuts
aren't working either since I can't open the terminal through ctrl alt
tab. I won't try rebooting now coz I may not be able to open my browser
