Title:
Banshee becomes unresponsive after buying from ubuntu one
Status in “banshee” package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
Did encounter this problem on two different computers with different installs of ubuntu (naty and oneiric) with different graphics cards but both with an intel atom processor (I don't have computers with other processors at the time):
- Try to buy a song using the ubuntuone store plug-in for banshee
- Directly after you select a credit card the download cue is displayed
- a pop-up appears that ubuntu one is downloading files
- banshee does no more refresh that window or react to me clicking on any button; if I try to close it I get the message that the application is not responding and am asked if I want to force the application to close; even if banshee seems not to be able to react to anything it suddenly uses 100% cpu power.
- If I restart banshee afterwards it works fine again.
Not the most severe bug (it neither hinders me from buying nor from
listening to music) but one that affects the music store I like. So I
thought I'd better report it.
