Title:
  No way to integrate other e-mail app into desktop

Status in “evolution” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Since I decided to stay with Evolution in 11.10, I am wondering if
  there is a way to integrate it so that it shows up on the e-mail icon
  at the top of the window instead of Thunderbird (and even in the Unity
  panel, if possible). So far, it doesn't look possible.
