Title:
lightdm tries to use unknown -background option, crashes X
Status in “lightdm” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
Didn't edit any files, just upgraded to Oneric through update-manager.
Lightdm seems to want to start X using the "-background" option which my X doesn't know. The /var/log/lightdm/x-0.log then contains X -help output.
Everything works when using GDM.
