Title:
gnome-icon-theme does not allow alternative start-here icons
Status in “gnome-icon-theme” package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
Binary package hint: gnome-icon-theme
In Debian you can select a different icon for the main menu by running
"update-alternatives --config start-here.svg", but in the Ubuntu
package this was removed. The next release of the gnome-colors package
will register an alternative icon for the start-here icon. In Ubuntu
it wouldn't be possible to change the Ubuntu icon to the GNOME-Colors
icon.
