  Nautilus fails to start after 11.10 upgrade

Status in “nautilus” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Upon upgrading from 11.04 to 11.10, Nautilus doesn't start
  automatically and doesn't start manually. When started from terminal,
  it gives the following output:

  Gtk-Message: Failed to load module "canberra-gtk-module"
  Gtk-Message: Failed to load module "canberra-gtk-module"
  Initializing nautilus-open-terminal extension
  Initializing nautilus-gdu extension
  nautilus: symbol lookup error: nautilus: undefined symbol: gtk_overlay_new
