  GEdit crashes when trying to drag-and-drop text

Status in “gedit” package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  When trying to take a few lines of text at a certain point in the
  document, and drop them at a different point crashed gedit. Tried with
  one line ,several lines and even one word with the same effect.
