the bug report doesn't make sense, urls in GNOME etc will use the
default browser, only legacy applications should be broken

  Epiphany is used by default no matter what the default browser is

Status in “gnome-control-center” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  If you install Epiphany even if it is not set to be the default
  browser it will be opened in preference of the default browser when
  using ubuntu-bug, links from email, links from irc etc.

  This only happens when you install epiphany otherwise what ever is
  listed as default is used.
