Title:
  lightdm frozen (SEGV crash) when trying to open a session for another
  user

Status in “lightdm” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Use case:
  1) Boot PC, then open a session for user1 thru lighdm greeter window
  2) From user1 session, request a session for another user -> Back on lightdm greeter window
  3) Try to open a new session for user2 -> lightdm greeter window frozen + crash of lightdm process

  Extract from from syslog:
  Oct 17 22:14:24 Hugo-6 kernel: [  104.665206] lightdm[2097]: segfault at 0 ip           (null) sp 00007f8408b9cc78 error 14 in lightdm[400000+27000]
  Oct 17 22:14:24 Hugo-6 kernel: [  104.669289] init: lightdm main process (1306) killed by SEGV signal

  I've 2 different desktop PC, running Ubuntu 11.04, different HW, upgraded from previous Ubuntu version
  Issue is easily reproducible on both desktops
