[Bug 876812] Re: cannot Empty Trash in Nautilus
This bug is intermittently reproducible.
Follow these steps:
- hard boot from power off state
- right click on desktop to create a new empty text file called test
- hit the delete key
- click on trash icon in launcher
- Empty Trash button will be greyed out
After the above steps, on some boots, the Empty Trash button will be
functional. On other boots, it will not.

The Empty Trash button is greyed out (see attached screenshot). The
workaround is to right click the object and select Delete Permanently
from the context menu.
