[Bug 429225] On startup, gnome reports that hard disk drives are failing

Bug description:
The disks are not failing... I'm able to access all data and
everything is working properly. The error has been raised for no
reason. There is no negative effect on anything, but I can't get the
icon to go away. Ubuntu 9.10 Alpha 5
