[Bug 840912] Re: nautilis shows waiting icon for a long while after opening an html file in firefox

Thank you for your bug report, that seems a bug in the firefox startup
notification handling, is that still an issue in the recent versions?

** Package changed: nautilus (Ubuntu) => firefox (Ubuntu)

** Changed in: firefox (Ubuntu)
   Importance: Undecided => Low

** Changed in: firefox (Ubuntu)
       Status: New => Incomplete

Title:
  nautilis shows waiting icon for a long while after opening an html
  file in firefox

Status in “firefox” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Open a folder in Nautilus, browse for some html file, and double click
  on an html file to open it with the default browser (Firefox in my
  case).

  The problem is that after that, the waiting icon remains for a loooong
  while, way after the browser has finished opening the file. The
  waiting icon should only show up while the browser is opening the
  file. Indeed, as soon as the browser window appears, the waiting icon
  should disappear.
