[Bug 841593] Re: typing ^L with the desktop focused materializes a mostly-useless "location" field
I'm using Unity, not GNOME 3. The issue is still reproducible. If it's
not nautilus's responsibility, where should I reassign the bug?

Title:
typing ^L with the desktop focused materializes a mostly-useless
"location" field
Status in Nautilus:
Invalid
Status in “nautilus” package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
When I focus the desktop by clicking on it and then type Control-L,
the wallpaper moves down and a location field materializes. Since
this field is mostly covered by the menu bar (see attached), it's hard
to see and difficult to use, but I can copy out the current contents,
which are "x-nautilus-desktop:///".
