Thank you for your bug report, do you still get the issue? Could you try
on Oneiric? Does it happen with any drive? I can't confirm the issue
there

Bug description:
If you plug in a USB storage device, the USB icon appears on the
desktop. When you double left-click on this icon and expect to see
the drive's contents, nothing happens, so you have to double left-
click again.
