[Bug 878601] Re: New Evolution mail with 11.10 huge resource hog that won't close.

 

Also, when sending mail, the following error message displays:
Your message was sent, but an error occurred during post-processing.
The reported error was "Failed to append to mbox:///home/writeideas/.local/share/evolution/mail/local#Sent: Invalid folder URI 'mbox:///home/writeideas/.local/share/evolution/mail/local#Sent'
Appending to local 'Sent' folder instead.".
With the only option being to click [Dismiss]

Bug description:
  Slays as a sleeping task when you quit the application. Has to have
  its process killed with the System Monitor. Has doubled up all my
  mailboxes (for my two E-mail addresses, making for huge backup times
  and file sizes.) a thoroughly nasty and constantly problematic update
  to what was a usable mail tool. I'm going top change over to Mozilla
  Thunderbird.)
