I can confirm that this bug exists in 11.10. The extension is installed
but there is no way to see/use it on any of the menus or toolbars.

Bug description:
  I installed libreoffice-presentation-minimizer extension

  It should add a toolbar in Impress but I can't see it (searched for
  view -> toolbars -> minimizer) and so, can't use it ...
