  reply/forward markers disappeared after upgrading to kubuntu 11.10

Bug description:
  After upgrading to Kubuntu 11.10 somehow the reply/forward markers
  disappeared. This is a big inconvinience for me and I believe more
  people. I have seen this problem occur on all of my computers. So it
  is not a single time incident.
