Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. The issue that you reported is one that should be
reproducible with the live environment of the Desktop CD of the stable
release - Oneiric Ocelot. It would help us greatly if you could test

Title:
  Gnome Screensaver doesn't stop when resuming activity

Status in “gnome-screensaver” package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:

  I updated to Natty Beta yesterday and just today I realized that,
  after leaving the computer for to have lunch, I couldn't get the
  screensaver to stop. Even killing the 'gnome-screensaver' process
  didn't seem to help. I had to restart X to get my destkop back to a
  usable state. Later in the day I had to leave to run some errands and
  the same happened, so I decided to try to see if the problem is
  reproducible, and yes: whenever gnome-screensaver comes up, you can't
  come out of it.

  My current configuration: I'm using the Cosmos screensaver after ten
  minutes, with the "Lock screen..." option disabled.
