Ubuntu better. The issue that you reported is one that should be
reproducible with the live environment of the Desktop CD of the stable
release - Oneiric Ocelot. It would help us greatly if you could test

  Battery Information Shows Up Twice

Status in “gnome-power-manager” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager

  Using Ubuntu Maverick installed from a daily image after alpha 3.
  Gnome power manager is 2.31.90-0ubuntu5.

  Pulling up the menu that shows power information should show my AC and
  Battery. Instead I get the same information listed twice about the
  same interfaces. I only have one battery.
