Message #39173
[Bug 733295] Font inconsistency
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. The issue that you reported is one that should be
reproducible with the live environment of the Desktop CD of the stable
release - Oneiric Ocelot. It would help us greatly if you could test
with it so we can work on getting it fixed. You can find out more about
the development release at http://www.ubuntu.com/testing/ . Thanks again
and we appreciate your help.

Title:
Font inconsistency
Status in “empathy” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
Binary package hint: empathy
In empathy on Ubuntu maverick under the ambience theme when I type a
message into the chat box for empathy it is shown in the Ubuntu font.
Then I press enter, and it appears in the chat dialog - but in a
different font. This feels odd.
Thus perhaps empathy isn't using the system (ubuntu) font for actually
displaying the messages.
I am using the "Ubuntu" theme in Empathy (Preferences -> Theme). I
can't remember if that's the default.
Ubuntu 10.10
Empathy 2.32.1-0ubuntu1.1
