[Bug 737006] coudn't start as a windows look no application bar even gone throw startx command in recovery mode

Ubuntu better. The issue that you reported is one that should be
reproducible with the live environment of the Desktop CD of the stable
release - Oneiric Ocelot. It would help us greatly if you could test

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: nautilus

  i upgraded my ubuntu from 10.10 to 11.04 after that i coudn't directly
  launch in to the os i have to switch to recovery mode and type startx
  to start window mode.even i started that the application bar couldn't
  open and i also try the short cut "alt+f2" to open the terminal but
  its also failure.so i try to move to my older os but there the
  application bar are open but window couldn't have
  minimize,maximize,close button.
