Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. The issue that you reported is one that should be
reproducible with the live environment of the Desktop CD of the stable
release - Oneiric Ocelot. It would help us greatly if you could test
with it so we can work on getting it fixed. You can find out more about

  Evolution and messaging applet

Status in “evolution” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  When leaving evolution minimized in the launcher and using the
  evolution icon in the messaging applet sometimes is displayed
  incorrectly while maximized (it appears to be above of where it should
  be - as the screenshot shows), this behavior doesn't happen all the
  time but when it happens one time, it keeps happening until evolution
  it's closed and opened again.
