[Bug 673809] Slow LAN on battery: ASPM fails for Realtek RTL8111/8168B Gigabit Ethernet controller [10ec:8168] (rev 02)

 

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. The issue that you reported is one that should be
reproducible with the live environment of the Desktop CD of the stable
release - Oneiric Ocelot. It would help us greatly if you could test
with it so we can work on getting it fixed. You can find out more about

Bug description:

  Hi.

  Since a few weeks i noticed that when my notebook runs on batteries
  the LAN network (the lan network card) becomes very slow. However the
  wireless card seems not to be affected and runs just as fast in
  battery mode as when I plug the notebook in.

  I think this is happened right after upgrading to 10.10, but i can't
  tell 100% for sure.
