[Bug 528892] [regression] double-click to copy and middle-click to paste pastes the previous selection
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. The issue that you reported is one that should be
reproducible with the live environment of the Desktop CD of the stable
release - Oneiric Ocelot. It would help us greatly if you could test
with it so we can work on getting it fixed. You can find out more about
it at http://www.ubuntu.com/download . Thanks again and we appreciate
your help.

Title:
[regression] double-click to copy and middle-click to paste pastes the
previous selection
Status in “vte” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
seen with lucid i386 on 20100227, unsure if it's vte or some X
package:
double-left-click to copy and middle-click to paste pastes the
previous selection, not the just selected one. a followup paste using
middle-click pastes the correct selection. It looks like it's not
always repeatable, but for about 30-50% of the tries.
