Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. The issue that you reported is one that should be
reproducible with the live environment of the Desktop CD of the stable
release - Oneiric Ocelot. It would help us greatly if you could test
with it so we can work on getting it fixed. You can find out more about

Title:
  gstreamer fails pulseaudio output with 48000hz files

Status in “gst-plugins-good0.10” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  When I play music with rhythmbox, everything is fine, if the audio file is 44100 Hz. But when I play a 48000 Hz file it stops with this error:
  pa_stream_writable_size() failed

  Note: players like VLC have no problem with this file or other 48000
  Hz files, it is only gstreamer
