Bug description:
  The find as you type box dissappears after typing the second letter.
  (I'm talking about the feature that allows you to start typing in any open folder to start searching for items matching what you type)

  Ubuntu 11.10
  I expected the box to stay open as I type my text to search like it did in Ubuntu 11.04 but it disappears after typing the second letter.
