[Bug 796512] Re: ftp: copy file window hangs when connection is closed by foreign host due to timeout
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. The issue you are reporting is an upstream one and it
would be nice if somebody having it could send the bug to the developers
of the software by following the instructions at
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/Upstream/GNOME. If you have done so, please
tell us the number of the upstream bug (or the link), so we can add a
bugwatch that will inform us about its status. Thanks in advance.

Title:
ftp: copy file window hangs when connection is closed by foreign host
due to timeout
Status in “nautilus” package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
Binary package hint: nautilus
My ftp connection has a timeout of about 2 minutes. When copying files, nautilus hangs after this time and it must be killed.
There is another bug due to the timeout. When accessing a folder, by double clicking it, a warning occurs: "Disconnected from remote site (Leider konnte nicht der gesamte Inhalt von »html« angezeigt werden: Verbindung wurde von Gegenstelle getrennt)", when I then press reload/refresh the contents of the folder will be displayed. It seems that the connection is then again established.
