[Bug 876109] Re: Thunderbird emoticons are not visible in the menu

I didn't know that gconf-editor doesn't work with GNOME3. Using dconf-
editor instead gconf-editor I can see the emoticons. So it's more a wish
than a bug, I think that (emot)icons must be automatically enabled in
Thunderbird.

Title:
Thunderbird emoticons are not visible in the menu

Status in “thunderbird” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
Thunderbird emoticons are visible in the mail, but not in the menus. I
think it has no sense that a menu with (emot)icons doesn't show this
icons. I used to solve this fact in Natty activating
  'buttons_have_icons' or 'menus_have_icons' in gconf-editor, but it
doesn't work in Oneiric. I attach an image to explain what I'm trying
to say, sorry for my bad English.

  -----------------------

Los emoticonos de Thunderbird se ven correctamente en los e-mails,
pero no en el menú. Creo que es absurdo que un menú con (emot)iconos
no muestre esos iconos. En Natty lo resolvía activando
'buttons_have_icons' en el Editor de Configuración, pero en Oreiric no
funciona, y tampoco 'menus_have_icons'. Adjunto una imagen.
