Seems to have gone away sometime prior to Oneiric in which it is OK
(7.0.1+build1+nobinonly-0ubuntu2)

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: firefox

  When executing the command firefox --help from the terminal, an error is displayed:
  evfool@evfool-devel:~/Projects$ firefox --help
  /usr/lib/firefox-4.0b10/firefox-bin: error while loading shared libraries: libxul.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

        -g or --debug       Start within /usr/bin/gdb (Must be first)

  The message is not displayed when simply running firefox from the
  terminal.
