Message #40636
Re: [Bug 879917] [NEW] Rate music you are currently listening to
Actually you can use Ctrl+J or the Playback → Jump to playing song menu item to
jump straight to the currently playing song, and then rate it.
But yes, it would be nice to have some way to rate the currently playing song,
rather than the currently selected song. I don't see any way to implement this
in an intuitive manner though. Do you have any suggestions as to how this can be
done?

Title:
Rate music you are currently listening to

Status in “banshee” package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
I want to rate music at the time I'm listening to them. Sadly I have
to search for them first in order to find them, click on them and then
rate them. Why isn't it possible to directly rate or edit the meta
data of the current music while you are randomly listening to it?
