Title:
SSH key passphrase prompt blocks compiz
Status in “gnome-keyring” package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
I'm not really sure where to file this or what to say, but it should be easily reproducible (it's happened twice the last few days):
1) Log in.
2) Start `git pull` or some other process which will prompt the user for the SSH key passphrase.
3) Lock the screen with Ctrl-Alt-L.
4) Leave the screen to turn off.
5) Type in the login password to dismiss the screensaver.
At this point, I would expect to see the desktop, but instead I see a black screen. I tried a couple things in a virtual terminal to get it back:
$ killall gnome-screensaver # I thought this was blocking
$ killall firefox # The Flash plugin has been acting up more than usual.
$ killall compiz
The last command finally resulted in seeing a desktop again. The
*only* running thing was a pop-up window asking for the password for
the SSH key, because of a `git pull` command running in a GNOME
Terminal.
