  Launcher went missing and so did clock mail shortcut,auto etho power
  button

Bug description:
  After a reboot, after upgrade, opened compiz. I didnt change anything. Thats when it went missing tried in terminal "unity --reset"
  and " unity --replace" terminal window in both cases gets to " Initializing session options...done"
   and hangs
