Title:
Wi-fi won't connect in 11.10.
Status in “network-manager” package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
When I updated my system to 11.10. wi-fi stopped working. I can see
the available wireless networks but when I try to connect I always get
the message that the password is incorrect. Password is good for sure
because I actually updated the system while connected through wi-fi.
On my second computer it also works fine. I even tried 3 different
kernels with no result. I suspect the problem is in the ethernet
driver. Here's some info:
uname -a:
Aspire-3100 3.1.0-030100rc10-generic
lspci:
06:01.0 Ethernet controller: Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. RTL-8139/8139C/8139C+ (rev 10)
06:02.0 Ethernet controller: Atheros Communications Inc. AR2413 802.11bg NIC (rev 01)
Anybody knows how can I get it working?
