Title:
Hide menubar broken in gnome-terminal on startup
Status in “gnome-terminal” package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
In the Profile Preferences for gnome-terminal, I turned off 'Show
menubar by default in new terminals'
In gconf-editor, I turned off default_show_menubar unders apps/gnome-
terminal/Profiles/default
'gnome-terminal --hide-menubar' doesn't work either.
You can turn the menubar off and on however. But it's not persistent
when you shutdown/restart the terminal.
