Title:
Snippet plugin: snippets in python do not work

Status in “gedit-plugins” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
Snippets written in python do not work. The following steps provide an
example with a snippet shipped with the Snippets plugin.

  1. In Gedit 3.2.0, enable the Snippets plugin
  2. Create a .C file
  3. type "ginterface" and hit Tab

This should trigger the "GObject interface" snippet written in Python; but it does nothing. Non Python snippets work alright
In fact no snippet in Python would work (although the Python console plugin works alright)
Starting gedit from the console do not show any error when trying to trigger a python snippet
