Title:
Evolution fails to recognise WICD network connection is active

Status in “evolution” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
I use WICD as the network manager (because network manager does not
work on my MSI Wind clone. I can connect to internet ( I am using it
now) but Evolution insists I am not connected to the internet.
Presumably because it is looking for a connection via Network Manager.
