[Bug 881390] Re: Incorrect symbols in doc files with MathType formulas

I attached two screenshots - one from MS Word, another from LO. The difference in rendering is clearly visible as well as all incorrect symbols.
The document was created in MS Office and then opened in LO 3.4.3. If I save it in LO and then reopen in Word the formulas are Ok, so the problem is exclusively in rendering of formula's graphical metafile, not in internal conversion.

Title:
Incorrect symbols in doc files with MathType formulas

Status in “libreoffice” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
When the .doc file containing MathType formulas is opened in LO, some symbols are missed. I noticed missed square brackets and superscript tilda (compare attached file in LO and in MS Word).
This bug is probably a "remnant" of the bug #256876.
