Message #41894
[Bug 788996] Re: Firefox stops accepting characters while typing
This problem probably has something to do with auto-completion. It
causes the input to hang. It's still a problem with FF7.

Title:
Firefox stops accepting characters while typing
Status in “firefox” package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
Binary package hint: firefox
When I fill an input field in a web form, Firefox stops accepting
further keystrokes after a couple of characters. The same happens in
the URL address line. I have to re-click on the input field with the
mouse, and then I can continue typing.
While this seems to mean that the input field has lost focus, the
cursor is still there.
It doesn't happen with Textarea field, only with one-line input
fields.
I use Natty + Unity.
