Title:
cannot switch off devices automount
Status in “gnome-settings-daemon” package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
Nautilus option for preventing automount is gone. gconf-editor setting
/apps/nautilus/preferences/media_automount_open is set to no but media
is automounted anyway. Only way to prevent auto-opening of nautilus is
Systemsettings->Media->never ask or start programms when media is
inserted->yes but this affects every media: CD, DVD and so on. And
also in this case: Media is mounted automatically.
