[Bug 881545] Re: eeepcT101MT doesn't suspend or hibernate anymore

Problem solved by removing the egalax touchscreen packages (installed
with Natty and previous) - removing these packages allows recovery of
suspend & hibernate + does not affect touchscreen function, though it
suppresses (or seem to) touchrotate (that sucks, but not as much as the
rest).

Title:
eeepcT101MT doesn't suspend or hibernate anymore

Status in “gnome-power-manager” package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
Since upgrading to Oneiric, my system fails to suspend or hibernate,
although I'm not sure it comes from gnome-power-management.

I know at least one other user who is in the same situation with the
  same computer brand (eeepc T101MT).

This seems a regression since suspend worked perfectly with Natty
