Title:
  XF86WLAN key should enable/disable Wifi

Status in “network-manager-applet” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: yelp

on the new Samsung N110 netbook I have noticed that some of the function keys do not work.
Function key + f9 should disable wireless
Function key + f5 should turn backlight on and off
Function key + f8 should change processor speeds

The other function keys seem to work fine. I have tried all the fixes
that I can find (mainly for a similar model netbook ie Samsung NC10)
but they do not seem to apply or work.

The keystroke captured for the wireless using xev is XF86WLAN.

I am using Ubuntu 9.04 stable.
and i believe that the wireless is using the ath5k module.

  SourcePackage: yelp
  Uname: Linux 2.6.28-11-generic i686
