[Bug 699921] Re: can't copy directory from dav
Just tried after an update to Ubuntu 11.10.
Problem seems to be solved.
I could copy a folder from my davs server without any problems, this
didn't work a while back, resulting in said html-formatted file.
So, as I don't know about dav, the prbolem seems to be fix for davs in
ubuntu 11.10.

Title:
can't copy directory from dav
Status in “nautilus” package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
Binary package hint: nautilus
When connecting to a DAV share, trying to copy a directory to the local filesystem will result in a GET request issued to the server, using the URI of the directory.
In most cases such request will return a list of the files in the directory, in html format.
Then nautilus will just store this HTML file and name it like the
requested directory.
This is totally wrong!
Nautilus should use a response to a PROPFIND request to determine the content of the directory, and then recoursively download the files using GET, and perform other PROPFIND requests over the nested directories.
I also point out that the logs show a bunch of redundant PROPFIND
requests.
