[Bug 697797] Re: Close icon for active tab is larger and cut off

I currently run Gedit 2.30.2 (latest stable release) compiled from
source in Ubuntu 11.10 and I don't have this problem now. If I remember
correctly, with Ubuntu 10.04 the close icon was only cut off in the
default Raleigh theme.

Title:
Close icon for active tab is larger and cut off

Status in “gedit” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: gedit

In gedit 2.30.3 the active tab has a close icon which is slightly
larger than for inactive tabs. This larger icon is also cut off on the
right side (see attached screenshot). As a comparison, Firefox uses
the larger version of the icon but it is not cut off. I use Ubuntu
10.04 with the Blackbox window manager and the default GTK theme.
