I opened the attached file in both MS Word 2003 and LibreOffice, it
looks the same in both and the problem originally described is
unreproducible. Did you open the attached .doc in LibreOffice or is it
directly exported from Word? If directly exported, could you please post
a screenshot of the file as it should display? If not, could you please
attach the file directly exported from Word?

Title:
  libreoffice would change numbering when viewing ms-word document

Status in “libreoffice” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  libreoffice version: 
  LibreOffice 3.4.3 
  OOO340m1 (Build:302)

  Problem description:
  When I try to view one document created by ms-word, it seems numbering & bullets for level 2 will be changed. I have used symphony 3.0.0 fp1, it looks well.

  For example:
  open one document created by ms-word, it should have numbering, like:
      1. xxx
      2. xxxx
       2.1 xxx
        2.2 xxx
       3. xxx
          3.1 xx
           3.2 xxx
  When I viewed it in libreoffice, it will automatically modify 2.1 2.2 to 1.1, 1.2, and 3.1 3.2 to 1.3, 1.4.

  Expected behavior:
  It should be working as ms-word or symphony
  Platform (if different from the browser):
  ubuntu 11.04, gnome.

  Browser: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686; rv:7.0.1) Gecko/20100101
  Firefox/7.0.1
