Message #44682
[Bug 884764] Re: gnome-screensaver locks screen even if it shouldn't
gnome-screensaver uses gsettings now, not gconf.
You can change the lock screen settings in gnome-control-center. Is that not working for you?

Title:
gnome-screensaver locks screen even if it shouldn't
Status in “gnome-screensaver” package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
Hi,
after upgrading to oneiric and using gnome-classic, the behaviour of
gnome-screensaver has changed. Although the gconf-setting
/apps/gnome-screensaver/lock_enabled = false
it locks the display when active, and I could not find a way to change
this, since the gnome Settings menu is gone. No chance to get rid of
this annoyance?
