[Bug 884901] Re: linked python to 2.6, software center doesn't like it

 

Software Center requires Python 2.7 to run, /usr/bin/python is meant to
be linked to /usr/bin/python2.7 in Ubuntu 11.04 and is by default - not
a bug.

  start. Maybe it could default itself to finding the necessary python
  version? It's my fault really, but just thought I'd give you a heads
  up.
