Title:
Software Center difficulties, Add-ons cause removal of software
Status in “software-center” package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
Upon trying to add, "Pretty printing of mails (muttprint)" to Mozilla
Thunderbird, the Software Center added the Add-on, and then promptly
began the process of removing all entire Thunderbird installation.
During the process, the removal is hung in the middle of the process
and will not continue to completion. I'm not sure why it is preforming
a removal, when I simply clicked on the Add-on, and then clicked on
the Apply Changes button. However, it's been running for a long time
now and doesn't seem like it's going to finish. This is a fresh
install of Ubuntu 11.10, and I was just beginning to set up the
computer when this occurred. Within the removal window, "Pretty
printing of mails (muttprint)" is no longer highlighted during this
self-induced software removal process.
